A good beginner beading project! These spools finished can be used as beaded beads for jewelry, ornaments, pendants, or even keychains. They make great quick gifts and are easy to customize!
These are custom patterns hand-drawn and created by me for very small spools. They will fit 3/4th inch x 1 inch spools. The patterns are repeatable herringbone and so could be used for other projects if wanted (such as bracelets).
Included is every pattern to create the spools seen in the photo: plain with edging, sparkle, stripes, starburst, diamond, pinwheel, and heart. The rainbow spool is made by using a blank pattern and a tube of mixed beads.
Brick and Herringbone stitch instructions can be found all over the Internet for free if you do not already know how to do it. It took me approximately one hour to do each spool.
I purchased my spools from Michael's Craft Store, but you may be able to find them elsewhere. http://www.michaels.com/laras-crafts-wood-spools-3%2F4in-x-1in/10111026.html

In Windows XP or newer, Mac OS X, and Ubuntu Linux, you can double-click the ZIP file and it will open in a new window. You can then copy the contents to another folder. OS X will create a new folder next to the ZIP file when you double-click it, but may not open it automatically.
