This was a very difficult piece for me to pattern! Every step along the way was a new challenge. We spent ages picking colors and correcting and adjusting things. And the Foundation looked it over and approved everything. She uses metallic threads throughout her dress to really sparkle, as does the moon crescent behind her. We weren't able to work in variegated threads but I think that's okay, there's so  much texture everywhere else. The background is done in half stitches t

The first of Sunset Dragon's Monster High girls are here. Abbey is full of different thread textures! She uses cotton throughout, of course, but features variegated colors on her bodice, etoile on her skirt, Kreinik blends in her makeup, Rainbow Gallery fuzzies in her fur accessories, and rayon accents.
